It's going ok. Lots of work, which is why I'm not on here as much.
It's anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours around here.

10 years ago I bought a new snowblower.
Got it in the beginning of October. Some people were laughing at me. 1st week of December we got 14 inches of snow. All the stores were sold out of blowers and repair shops were working overtime to keep up.
I always have my winter supplies by the middle of October.

Man I've done that before. Talk about panic. I had a very strict morning routine and was convinced my day was ruined if i was off schedule.

I'm the same way to a extent, I generally like to be at work 15-20 minutes early to get coffee lunch put away etc. If I'm not early it throws me off and the last two days were this way getting there with just a couple minutes to spare. I've been actually late one time in near 17 years (overslept) and that morning I just called in and said I'm burning a day of vacation if that's alright. They were good with that.

I feel bad for not being at work, even if we don’t have much to do. It’s supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow, I’ll go in and may be the only one there. I hate to waste a day of vacation for that only living 8 miles away. My boss lives about 30 miles away and the other guy about 15 and rides a motorcycle, that’s all he has at the moment.

I drove 50 miles to Wahpeton, ND for class in almost a blizzard only to find out that some of my classmates didn't come to class. And they lived on campus. Across the parking lot.

But on a motorcycle? That's a vacation day!

That's good work ethics buddy. I thought that might be a fun poll, as far as time at work lol. Like a minute to spare, 15 plus minutes early, or no set time etc, at my work theres usually 2-3 of my group there before me. I'd say most are 3-5 minutes before or habitually late. The last two days it's just a drag how many come in at the last minute gets to be a clogged up cluster...I want no part of

I woke my son up a few months ago after he fell asleep doing his evening treatment. He was so out of it it took me 10 minutes to get him to go to bed instead of getting ready for school like he kept trying to do.

I open our store at 6, I leave there at 6:47, open the machine shop at 7, my boss gets there anytime between 7:20 and lunch. He came in today at 9ish, had to go see a customer. My coworker in the shop is supposed to be there at 8, haven’t seen him in before 9:30 this week. Guess he waits for it to warm up riding his motorcycle that far, I don’t know what his deal is. He’s in his 60’s.

Work, appointments, anything - if I'm not 10 minutes early, I'm late.

I get to work on time, anything else I like to be early. My wife on the other hand, if we need to be somewhere at 11, that means leave at 11:15

She gets that mess from her dad. They were late to our wedding rehearsal. My wife called him, he said “y’all go ahead, I know what to do” :smack:
