I like to learn “new” words which usually means older words that aren’t used commonly. I just thought this group would appreciate this one from today. lol. I knew as soon as I saw it that you would most certainly know it.

Back when I worked for Hormel, I used to go to morning coffee with the other engineers in my group. One morning, an older gent in the group, Bob Divine, proudly announced to everyone that he had just gotten a new to him car. Someone asked him where bought it, and the reply was Hertz. Someone else, (probably me), asked him if he had really bought a rental car, and he replied, "Yes, why do you ask?". We all started laughing. A lot...:rofl::rofl:

I am not a fan of the BMW grills. Plus being an M series that usually means it will need a new engine soon.

BMW owners are some darn loyal people to the brand though. I mean I think they may be almost up there with Tesla owners when it comes to forgiveness for issues with the cars.

Wife and I were out checking the fishing spot. Cold and windy and we couldn't get to the leeward side to get at the fish. Looks like snow weather, just a little warm for snow down here.

Especially the new ones. They just keep getting....more. Only one of recent I like is the new 8 series
Nah. That's only a sport model. I think they (hopefully) corrected that issue of BMW's of old...but it is a BMW. My buddy and his brothers work on them and they always have some cool cars. Some of the few people doing manual swaps on the older ones and making them the badass machines they were made to be. He has an 80's something 7 series if i remember....v12, manual, lightweight flywheel, race clutch, tune, and a couple other things. It is a stupid car that makes no sense, but oh so awesome.

Edit: he also has a revised throttle sensor...so it revs faster than anything i've ever seen, especially with the lightweight fly. He says it's near undrivable due to the revs moving up/down so fast and the clutch engaging with no slip room, so he just dumps the clutch all the time. That thing is bulletproof and so fun

This SUV definitely feels higher quality than any S Line and AMG model I’ve driven. Transmission shifts smoothly and responsively when using paddles. The V8 engine it has makes this thing super quick. Haven’t floored it to decide if it’s quick or fast but it does have 528 HP

    I had a 1989 535i (manual transmission) and a 1989 318i M-Sport (also a manual). I love 80s Bimmers.
