Correcting a previous CMC done by another shop. They left a lot of meat on the bone and @Dansly56 was still having rubbing issues with 285s.

I was more surprised to find they used 18ga steel for their “repair”.

Wow 18 gauge lol! Thinner than 1/16th hahaha

Dude, at least the shop used different material to enclose it lol. I’ve fixed 2 CMC’s in the last couple months that were done by 4wheelparts and all they did was take a cut off wheel to the top and bottom line and then hammer it in as far as it could go and then weld those seams back up lol. With the weld they seemingly stuck out just as far as they were before haha. I asked both customers how much they paid and, let’s just say they both got kinda screwed over.

Some people pay outrageous prices for CMCs. As a customer I wouldn’t mind if the work matched the price but I know we’ve both seen our fair share or cringe-worthy work.

BTW, if anyone wants a set of KO2s. I have 4 in 285/70-17 for sale with about 2,500 miles on them. No plugs/patches. Manufacture date puts them about late 2019. I’ll get pics up on request but I’ll be starting a FS for them once I take pics.

    Asking $600

    edit: SOLD

Definitely! Quality work is worth the price but paying what I hear some people pay for garbage work is just really sucky lol
