It always cracks me up that people wait til the jackpot is over 400 mil. Like a “small” 100 mil jackpot isn’t enough to change their life completely

If I won a lottery (cheap, don't ever play) I would want $2000/week/life - adjusted for inflation. With a steady income of $104K/year you could do anything you wanted -- but never become ostentatious.

    Morning PA!

Saturday's don't mean much to me anymore. Finally got off night shift onto second, but had to do the Wed-Saturday shift. No biggie honestly. Still kinda odd to go to sleep while it's still dark out!

Once, about 16 or 17 years ago, I worked Overnight at HD covering for the freight manager for two weeks.

    Fuck. That. Noise.

I don’t know how people can live like that working a vampire shift.

I did it for a little over 2 years, I think I took 10-15 years off my life. Was shooting for daylight shift, but honestly I'm not a morning person at all so 2nd works out good.

Small groups are definitely the way to go.

If we do cheese steaks this year it's a good place to meet local folks. Or come down to GMF when we're doing mod days.

That’s me. I only spend maybe $30-$50 a year on lotto. I keep it that low by waiting for bigger prizes so it limits how much I spend, since your odds are horrible for actually winning.

Agreed the odds are ridiculously bad. I’m not much of a gambler but I’ll drop a few bucks on it sometimes. Can’t win if you don’t play.

    Years ago I
Given the chance for a mostly free vacation in a beach front condo on one of the Hawaiian Islands I took it .

Never again returning and acclimatizing to - 50 F took some doing .

Glad it worked in your case.

Afternoon all. Cleaning out my one gun cabinet base. Came across a box of 16 gauge slugs. I never owned a 16 until my Grandfather passed and one of his guns I inherited was a single shot 16. Learned the gun was my Great Great Uncle Herman's. Kind of cool!

They just were never as Popular as the 12 or 20 gauge I bet the .410 saw more use at least from what I saw in my youth.

Brings back memories of a 16 gauge Mossburg Bolt action

Yes sir. I am happy with the truck. It is hard adjusting. You wound not think there is much difference between the 2 but. Wow where do I put all my stuff. No cubby to the lower right of the steering wheel. That’s where I hung all my extra keys. Cubby next to auto shifter, pen, mini screwdriver, mini flashlight. Manual trans.... console full of cup holders. Lol.

It’s easy once you learn that people suck and the folks that work night shift are the ones that’s get the work done while the day men just ask questions and Lolly gag. If it were up to me, I’d work permanent nights.

Lol definitely not the way of things in production maintenance. Our off shifts are fucking horrible at getting anything done.
