    Happy New Year everyone!!

I've read about the seat spacers that some have installed on the front seats of their 3rd Gen Tacoma's but can't seem to find a link. I'm wondering since I'm relatively new and have only posted once is the reason I can't access it?

    Thanks in advance!!

AFAIK, post counts don't hide/reveal anything on the forum.

I think this is what you're looking for.

I spinal fusion surgery back in March 2020 and it's still sore and stiff, did those seat spacers make any difference in comfort?

I can't say they make it more comfortable, but the do make an improvement in visibility. If you only use the front spacers, you could end up with a more reclined positioning of the seat.
I opted to put in the rear spacers as well, and gain a little overall altitude. I does require you to move your seat forward a notch or two to put you back into you original reference point to the pedals. A side benefit is that, he has incorporated a storage panel. Every once in a while you can find scratch and dents on the sight for a little cheaper. The powder coat is blemished or some other cosmetic issue. Same overall benefit, but a little less money, and you really don't see it anyway.

Thanks for the input!! I think I'm going with the front and back seat spacers also as I'm vertically challenged.

the seat "softness" does not change, but the way you seat in it will. For me personally i was not having back pains but leg cramps, now with the extra leg support since they can actually rest on the seat now, its been better. sorry i cant be more helpful.

Thanks for the input AJ4mPR! It's really not about the seat softness for me but the positioning. I feel like I'm sitting really low and back. I've ordered the front and back seat spacers for the drivers seat and will try them out. I could live with the way the is seat now but if there's a solution for a better position then it's worth a try.

sounds good! yeah i have only the front and you feel taller and then it reclines just enough for your lower to mid back to feel supported.

heyjohn...if you get the seat spacers, would you mind showing a few more pics of what the seat looks like from the side once it's installed. I hate how far down I sit inside the truck. But I want to see what the seat looks like lifted up. Thank you!

@shelbell1086, same here. I just installed the rear ones yesterday but forgot to take a "before" picture. I haven't installed the front spacers and might not because the seating position seems fine now. I haven't driven it yet but I did have to adjust my mirror after I installed them. Working today so I'll take one a little bit later.

Yep. Desert Does It. Seat Jackers. I did both seats front and 1/2” in back. Feels more like I’m sitting up in the cab of a truck than slung low in a car.
