(FWIW - I have a 17 DCSB OR, and I’ll use the 5100s with 887s up front and the medium Dakar’s in the rear. If anyone knows this to be a terrible path, please speak now!)

Put the bilstein 5100 & 5160s on this weekend. First time doing suspension work but pretty straight forward (did it all by myself and with no power/air tools).

Set the 5100s on 1.1 w/ oem coil. And nothing to rear except 5160s. Ride is great compared to stock Hitachi suspension.

What are the advantages of the 5160s over the 5100s?

    5160 is a 5100 with a Reservoir

Here is a video explaining the advantages of a reservoir.

Doing the same setup with icon rxt leafs. Any feedback on ride quality?

Have you installed your Icons yet? If so, what kind of height increase did you get? And how much extra shock travel are you expecting to need?

Installed the icon at stage 2 and went with bilstein 5160s in the rear. I originally had a 2" block lift before I replaced everything. Rear is now sitting at 40" measured from the ground. It was originally at 38 1/8". I'm sure it will settle after a bit of driving.

Total job took almost 10 hrs by myself. I ran into a lot of bolts that wouldn't break loose and had to be grinded off. Also, the shocks were a pain to get to fit in the lower mount. The icon rear bushing was very tight to fit in the shackle. 20210109_101904.jpg 20210109_101932.jpg 20210109_101913.jpg

Wow, that's a bit tall for my garage but it looks great. I've decided to go with air bags for the moment but will upgrade springs/shocks and add cradles when I get the funds. Really like the rack BTW....

Pictures are a bit deceiving. I was hopped upon a curb. This is a side profile pic. Waiting for the 6112s and spc UCAs to arrive for the fronts.

Saw that in the pics but was going by measurements you had. I'm sure it'll be sweet when you get the front installed. How's the ride with the Icons in the back? and what leaf configuration are you running?

Rxt stage 2 configuration. Rides much better than my old rough country setup. Still waiting for the 6112s. Been on backorder for a couple months.
