I just wanted to let everyone know About an issue with Pro Eagle’s Talon jack. I bought one from 4wp last month, put it together, and put it in the living room. Came home two days later and oil was everywhere. I took photos and returned it. I had 4wp ship in a new Talon. Same deal, put it together, didn’t use it, and it ended up leaking two days later. Today I exchanged this jack for a THIRD TIME. Let’s see if this one holds up. I will be sending this jack to Pro Eagle if this one is also an issue. 4wp told me that they called Pro Eagle and Pro Eagle acknowledged there is an issue with some of these Talon’s.

Why in the hell would you go for a third one if the first two failed within days? And the company says there is a problem with them. Get your $$ back and buy a quality floor Jack. There are lots of good quality trouble free floor jacks on the market.

I want to give pro eagle the chance to prove me wrong. I was not aware of any issues from the manufacturer until the 3rd jack arrived. I also want to see if Pro Eagle will fix their issues and make it right so they keep a customer.

I mean no offense but that makes absolutely no sense. They have a inferior flawed product that made a mess in your house and they are aware of it yet you keep going back. You are spending/wasting your money, time and effort. These people know there is something wrong with their product yet they keep sending it to customers. You could go to any auto parts store, Walmart, Harbor Freight etc. and get a better jack that works and cheaper. Again I’m not trying to hassle you I’m just saying you are wasting your money and time.

I understand where you’re coming from. I hope that my efforts to bring attention to this on the forum, as well as other places, pays off.

Man you have a pickup bed! Why is there a leaky hydraulic jack on your back seat?!

It’s a long story, but the short is I needed it in the back seat because the bed was being utilized.

That's surprising because pro eagle is one of, if not the top dog in the off road jack game. I'm sure they'll get it squared away.

And that’s exactly why I’m not getting mad about it, and keep giving them opportunities. My guess is 4wp bought a bad batch. If this 3rd one leaks, I’ll just ship to them directly and cut 4wp out of the equation.

I wouldn't be too upset either. Shit happens and you're giving them a chance to make it right which is nice. Too many people bust out the pitchforks early.

Shit does happen, and I’ve been dealing with it over the last 3 weeks over my Christmas break. Not like I have anything else to do.

Your public service announcement is appreciated and pays off for the ones that are remaining quiet yet also shopping for a jack.
