The one I got off the side of the road doesn't have one of these. I need to do this. Thanks for the unintentional nudge :)

Jealous you have natural gas and you can hard line it! Last month filled up all 3 of my propane tanks as they were empty. I mainly use mine in the winter summer not so much. If it was hard piped though....

Yeah read that about the Stainless panels on the Gen 1 and some people having issues with it. Mine is black because when I got mine it was a Model T, about all I could find around here was black. Which matched all my kettles back then. The SS on my table and sides are still in good shape though.

For awhile with the Gen 2 they did away with the side burner and sear station options. Enough uproar over it they started making them again. And wouldn't have one without those 2 options I use both on mine all the time. Supposedly the Gen 2 are better than the Gen 1's were at this point. Don't see me upgrading anytime soon though no need to. But if\when I do the first thing I will do is get the GrillGrates for it. Love them on my Gen 1 but not sure if they would fit the Gen 2.

They can be had for less than $20 on Amazon. You might be able to find the ash can too, since that simply clips to the leg extensions.

Asked my wife to pick one up if the price was reasonable... she paid $9.99 for trimmed choice. Oof. Better be good!

A little chewy. I’ve had more tender ungraded meat from Walmart unfortunately. Great flavor otherwise!

Ran out of mesquite chunks the other day so used applewood. Definitely didn’t do it justice.
