Hi everyone, I recently bought this here 2015 black Tacoma trd off road and was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions on mods to do. I’m a high school student so I don’t have a huge budget so maybe not any huge mods, but just wanted to see everyone’s opinions. I’m also planning on putting a light bar hidden in the bumper and also possibly installing a trd pro grill. What do y’all recommend?EBD8875D-04A1-423C-BB92-197F90E57B5F.jpg0F65929D-93B2-423D-8C18-1973C085B60B.jpg

Interior LEDs are nice. Get rid of the chrome on front. Nice truck.

I don't know about the 12-15 models, but my 11 was "dim" when the dome light was on. I did the map light mod to tie in the front map lights to the dome light when the doors are open. Makes a HUGE difference. If you don't already have some wire, I spent less than $10 on a small box of female spade connectors and a small spool of wire to do the mod. I also spent about $20 for a whole interior LED light swap kit. Results are amazing.

You don't need a huge budget to get started. Many of the mods I did were using color matched paint to change some things. I got my color matched spray cans on eBay.

same exact truck as mine, very nice. You will be sick of keeping the black looking black, so first mod is to paint it!
Limited budget, I would forgo cosmetics for now, meaning the grill you mentioned.

First thing I would buy is the bed mat mentioned above. The plastic bed is like ice.
Then weather tech or husky mats

Maybe even before anything....no mention of miles or previous owner maintenance if known, so maybe a change of all fluids, plugs, etc.
Make sure your truck is taken care of mechanically before adding makeup.

Work your but off and throw every dollar at paying that nice truck off by the time your out of school or shortly after. Then you’ll have great paid for truck. Then do mods as needed. Congrats on the truck!!!

A inexpensive mod like yellow fog lights is a fun way to change the look in a subtle way. If you are a heavy phone user for media a stubby antenna can do the same. Vehicle upgrades that cost the tendies id go tires then Bilstein 5100's all around. The positive is you can save money and install the struts yourself. But yeah... frame.
