With the premium SFOB im running, there is definitely a gain. Truck feels like it has 20% more power, especially down low. The great thing is, mpgs stayed the same and maybe got a bit better.

I have the borla cat back too, sounds fantastic by the way.

    hmm, good to know.
i know usually exhaust systems dont typically work well unless they are paired with a tune. So this is good to know. Im looking at a gibson system. Its stainless which is nice, and isnt much louder than the trd.

I installed the borla when i had the stock tune, and it worked well IMO. Sounded great and maybe a hair better at low end. Borla is made with aircraft grade 304 stainless steel, FWIW.

After i installed the performance tune, the exhaust did get louder a bit, which i actually prefer. I have the "poor man's trd intake" as well, which sounds fantastic.

What happened to your engine cover? Is that dirt or some type of corrosion?
