Morning .5 and crew, no other life stirring here yet this morning. I'm used to a hour earlier time zone

I used to work out of a locomotive shop. Devcon (industrial grade) was an acceptable 'fix' in certain situations. Serious stuff. We put a dob on the dirty, dusty, vinyl dash of a beater shop truck one time. Just to see....
It pulled a chunk of vinyl out when pried off a day later!

I put about 10 lbs in it. It’s a set it and forget it type smoker

I need to add a door to add more charcoal for these long burns.

 

And some wood chunks

 

I use a small barrel smoker myself maybe 1/4 of a big bag. I try to smoke food all day but take off soon as my heat is done and finish on the grill depending what it is

That’s sweet! A friend of mine bought one of those recently at a pawn shop for $40, they were asking $80.

My wife just called her parents to see if they wanted to eat supper with us. They can’t come because her dad wants to watch football.

We have a TV.

Y’all see why we don’t cater to them?

They came by the store the other day, her dad didn’t get out of the car and come in to see his grandkids. It’s ridiculous.
