sure let me know where to submit my credit application :anonymous:

lol that’s why i said i think i’m friends def don’t want that to happen and yeah i saw that thread just trying to arm myself as much as possible before heading in for negotiations

    i’m getting out of an 18 4runner

this is a good idea i’m gonna start doing this as well also screenshooting some of the deals i see in the other thread for some comparisons

    doh thought i put that in it’s a 21 OR DCSB 6spd

and yeah def good advice that i’ve always remembered to never talk any other parts of the deal until selling price is locked down

from what i’ve seen so far it seems like 3-4k off of the msrp should be what i aim for.

another question i have is are the TRD beadlock “style” wheels worth it or should i hold off. only reason i was considering them is cuz the wife most likely won’t go for new wheels for some time but if i can bundle it all in might be able to get away with it.

Just wanted to offer that thread just in case. Can you get them with the beadlock wheels? I didn’t think so but I can’t say I’ve played with the builder.
Also check out Carmax. There is one in Laurel (I think) that’s a Toyota dealer.
Anyone in your family in the or was in the military? If so you might be able to join USAA. They’ve got a car buying service too that you can use to help get lower prices.

from me playing with the builder i can but i was just undecided whether it’s worth the extra 1k.

and unfortunately no military for me the closest i can get is my loan (2.29%) which i already got approved from having my navy fed account which i was only able to get because i was able to “sneak in the back door”:gossip:

Nice! I guess they don’t have a car buying service?
I didn’t realize they were in the builder, that’s pretty cool.

Late to the party, but I'll throw in my experience. Right now is a hot market for Tacoma's, so finding a "deal" on them is slim to none. I reached out to a couple dealers (even the high volume Koons in Westminster) and they were all pretty much the same so I went with the dealer nearest to me (Younger in Hagerstown). My 2021 TRD Offroad with tech package and all weather mats out the door, tax, title, and registration was a hair over 42K. They go fast so they won't really knock too much off as the next guy will buy it a day later...

Morning MD! I ran the woodstove all day yesterday, I had the lower level of the house finally have some warmth to it and I installed a register on a return duct that is next to the woodstove. I just ran the circulation fan to draw the warm air into the duct work and within 3 hrs, I had the upstairs at 75*. The heat pump didn't kick on at all yesterday, or through the night. I woke up at 7:30 today and it was still 70* upstairs, the lower level is chilly again. I have no idea what time the fire died out.

I did the hydrocarbon test on the 'runner yesterday, with the engine cold and hot. The fluid didn't change color, so there's no coolant getting into the combustion chambers. The engine and trans oil are fine and there's no "froth" on the bottom of the oil filler cap. I have the gasket for the TB heat exchanger ( i have no idea what Toyota calls it) so I'll change that out and see if it solves the problem. A compression test is also something I'd like to do, just gotta find the time and a warm place to do it. No way in hell I'll pay a shop to do that, I guarantee the truck would come back with a stripped spark plug or some other type of damage that they would deny doing.

Since you had to add coolant first test I would do is pressure test the cooling system to see if the system holds pressure and to see if there's coolant leaking somewhere.

    vs.

A tundra that offered....some 2008 technology and some awful chrome bits? I love Toyota’s but they’re starting to get left behind by the competition.

Buy every warranty they offer if you plan on keeping the truck longer than 6months. Its a dodge. Trust me.

I can agree, you wont find a greater Tundra hater than me :anonymous:

My boss's son had a lifted 2018 f150 Platinum edition. I'm not a domestic truck guy but I'll tell you that was a bad ass truck. 5.0L v8. Heated & air conditioned steering wheel & seats, power tailgate, multiple cameras, massive interior space ect... Front seats even massaged you lol! @Tonymontana & I drove down into town in it and we were both impressed. But for the long haul I'll stick to the simplicity & reliability of a Toyota 4x4.
