I am looking to upgrade my stock 265/70r16 tires to 265/75r16. But i am worried if the larger tire size will fit under the bed where the spare tire is stored. Can someone confirm that 265/75r16 will fit under the bed? I think it will fit but i just wanted to make sure....

Also, will i need a new jack if i lift my Tacoma 2-3 inches? I saw a video on the youtuber "Mike C"'s channel and he found that the stock jacks dont raise the truck high enough to change the tire on his Tacoma after he lifted it 3 inches.

You will be fine mounting that spare.
The stock jack works fine if you get a flat. Put the jack under the lower control arm in the front and on the rear, you put it directly under the axle. Just need to lift the flat tire off the ground to change it. If you really want a new jack, go get a small floor jack and remove the wheels. Then mount in the bed of the truck, so it doesn't bounce around and damage the truck or other items you are carrying.

Spare will fit fine. Keep a chunk of 4x4 in the bed or a larger bottle jack if you want to go all out. Don't need a lift to run those tires (unless you're doing it purely for looks like everyone else). Peace.

The jack problem is pretty much a comman thing with many lifted trucks and SuV. My old Liberty was lifted 2" and I didn't think of this till i got a flat from a screw in the tread away from home. On that vehicle I was able to get the damaged tire off but them the factory jack would not lift enough to get the fully inflated spare to go on. Had to call AAA out to help. They were amused that I got that far and had to bail but finished with a floor jack.
I learned to carry some wood to put under the jack.
I noticed the taco has a bottle jack not a cheap sissor jack, so that should be better.

changed mine from factory 245's to 265's after they wore out, the spare fits fine..

Hard top camper...many more to add+
Your larger spare tire will fit. Be aware of exhaust pipe..may need insulation near tire...your tire jack will work..in certain lifting points, and carrying a 4x4 block of wood ...is a good idea..
Plus with the storage area, in back of rear seat, you can add a hydraulic jack (that can go higher then you trucks jack)...
I found going off road..having a extra jack helps...lift jack is nice to have ,takes a lot of space?
Please look at this company for hydraulic bottle jacks (SafeJacks) with extension ...they really can go very high!

Many years ago...I fell in a crack (lava roads)...a lift jack would work best..but my floor jack that I had at the time ( the floor jack) just fit underneath to lift me ..than I fill crack with lava rocks...a bottle jack would not work very well here...I still carry a extra bottle jack and a floor jack...(Jack of all trades..)
    Aloha,

265/75/16 will fit in the spare hole like a glove, (BFGK02s). I don't have a highjack but I do carry two rubber jack pads for uneven ground/terrain.yl+cH488QFCdvj9E97TSYw.jpgvnrwyqpzTUGPKHaQXZCrbA.jpge979YSDjTeKX1pt9%EgnPw.jpg J+AWfhwaR+69oSATB7Y8iQ.jpgbhi1aj1zRUOP4NWp8U4vCg.jpg
