Yeah, I have a 2.6 on there now, but at 5500'+. I noticed the change at sea level to here.
I also want to know how to flash things if I am able to take my ~1 month Baja trip next winter, I can remove the supercharger belt and run cheap gas that is available.

    It's DLX son!
Premium was available at every pemex I filled up at last year, and there were way more stations than I recalled from the first time I went in 2006. I think you're more likely to have an issue in death valley.

I haven't tried it myself, but my understanding is it wouldn't be very pleasant to drive at speed or pull a grade with the belt off.

Just get the Red Gas at pemex and your good. My truck was down way south for a good 5 months and never had a problem with my JustDSM tune or TRD tune.

Currently in Gainesville tx for work the truck got about a tank and a 1/4? About 350 miles plus on the winter blend so not bad I guess.

Interesting... When I was down there 3 years ago on my motorcycle, it seemed hit or miss for premium. Sure the Pemex had pumps for it, but they were bagged/off quite frequently. Maybe that was just a fluke the end of December. I also spent most of my time on the Sea of Cortez side, not the Pacific.

just bring some octane boost, or dump a few heet gas dryers in same thing.

My backup plan is to buy a case of octane boost and stash it behind the rear seats.

Seems easier than buying it in bulk and then having to measure out of a jerry can or something.

Probably no problem getting into Mex, but coming out made lead to a full cavity search!!!!

They like to give us the taste of our own medicine now. More and more searches when you enter Mex.

    StopTech BBK or Wilwood..

Both are 6 piston. Both can be had for pretty much the same price. I actually prefer the option for plain rotors from StopTech.. and they're slightly larger. But.. Wilwood. I'm torn. Was sold on the StopTech's but just recently found out about the Wilwoods.

I have Wilwood ......I’m very satisfied. With these you do have an option of slotted and drilled or just slotted. You mayyyy have the option of solid rotors too but not sure. I got a splendid deal on Black Friday a couple years ago. Install is straight forward. Just need to bend the dust shield a tiny tad for clearance.

I suppose the slotted wouldn't be too bad.. My concern is just debris when wheeling.
