My two-year-old has a fever so I stayed home from work today to watch my kids. Couldn’t sleep throughout the night because my kid wasn’t feeling well and kept waking up sporadically. I’ve been up since 7AM. Got the kids down around 1:30PM. Ate my lunch and finally had time to sit down.

My wife comes home at 2:30PM. She asked, “Are you in a good mood?”

I answered, “Not really. I had a busy morning. Finally ate and have a chance to sit down.”

“Ugh, I backed into the house.”

She hurriedly ran downstairs and tried to “fix” it. After 10mins I came down to find her trying to clean my rear bumper with her scrubs. I immediately told her to stop. I came over and found this on my 2020 Pro.

    Can it be fixed?

Let’s see it from a little farther away. If it’s only those little dimples I wouldn’t worry about it. Sure it sucks but in a few months you won’t even think about it.

Looks like you would just need new bumper ends. Inexpensive fix - probably around $200 if you replace them yourself.

What are you talking about? That small scuff? I’d kiss my wife and tell her it’s no big deal.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
For backing into a house, it's not bad, and more than likely you're going to be the only one to notice. I know Pro's are a pretty penny, but if it was me I wouldn't worry too much about it.

For what it's worth, a lot of guys on here run off-road on a regular basis. Hell, I pinstriped my truck less than 16 hours after signing the papers. Yes, a few choice words were said at the time, but there's no use in crying over spilled beer.

Just a bumper, it did its job.
    One scratch, one memory achieved.

It’s totaled! Write it off, find a new wife, and move on.

I remember my first paint scuff...
It was 2019. long before the pandemic. People were out and doing things. I was doing things. I scraped some paint. I was sad.

Bumper did it’s job, if I were you I wouldn’t even consider replacing it with OEM parts just get a steel bumper so if it happens again you don’t stress about it

I get it. But I can’t tell you how liberating it is to shrug small stuff like that off after being obsessive over the new truck for months.

Like a new pair of sneakers getting that first scuff, it’s inevitable ;)

I think mine lasted about a month. I remember when I brought it to my father in laws shop and I brought armor and I needed to cut the exhaust he said I'm doing what to my new truck lol

I’m not quite there yet. I saved a long time for it. I haven’t had a new vehicle for over 20 years.
