I need new tires for my 2017 Tacoma 4x4 Sport. I'm adding a 3" lift. I would like to add a more aggressive tire. What is the largest tire I can add? Any recommendations on brand?

265/75r16 or 265/70r17 Fatter but smaller (About 31.8")
    255/85r16 or 255/80r17 Skinner but taller (33"s)

What do you want to do with your truck? Do you daily it and do mild off road? Do you want to rock crawl? Falken Wildpeak AT3ws are highly regarded as a good all around AT

Daily drive and mild off road. I want more of an aggressive look with the lift and tires. Another post had 285/75/17 Grappler Ridge or Trail. They looked great.

That's a 34" tire which requires a lot of cutting to make fit.

33" (285/70/17) already requires a cmc (cab mount chop).

But yeah 265/70/17 and 255/80r17 are the biggest you can go without doing cutting.

Is a lift required for the 255/80r17?
