Been driving around the bmw recently it’s cold as shit out. Readjusted the nut so it sits as tight as it can on the bracket definitely shifts a little better. Planning on making the zip tie thing this weekend ! Thanks for your help brotha

This is usually due to a vacuum leak somewhere. You mentioned your SC is always making a racket, the leak might be in the bypass valve tube itself making the S/C think you are under load and so its not bypassing but always forcing air (and making S/C noises doing it).

I need this in my life. I've been wanting to do the Trans Go "reprogramming" VB kit, but if its as simple as yanking this guy extra extra, dang.

I'm not saying its the end all solution and your transmission will last forever, but mine is still going strong. Mind you I dont beat on it on the street, only in the dirt where its easier to spin the wheels.

Roger. I think the Transgo is no 'end all' solution as well. Just need the trans to not shift so slow when WOT, it makes me cringe. But I also don't want those over-done setups that chirp tires just driving along normally. The Transgo looks to be legit, using the drill bit that is the lightest setting. But its a lot of work to open up the VB and do the mods, I like the idea of just extending the kick down extra.

@Jbogstaco I keep saying it, but a good bang for the buck is the Aem Fic6. Its not plug and play, but can yield good results. It's what runs my turbo Tacoma.

Otherwise the Urd 7th would be my choice on a stock SC setup.

Hey so I’m thinking about running a turbo too through the supercharger , is my best fuel system still gonna be the 7th injector or would a bigger fuel pump and just bigger injectors be more efficient . Trans shifts like butter after the bracket was made thank you brotha

Honestly I would just pick one or the other. Since you already have the SC, I would say just stick with it and save alot of money and headaches. But you should still consider the Urd 7th injector kit for it, since its a easy plug in kit that works. Pump and injectors are only part of the equation, you still need a computer to tune it to run properly.

The turbo is great, but there is sooo much plumbing, it takes up alot of room for everything.

I finally tested this mod via a vice grip. I like everything about it but cold start going from park to drive- its pretty harsh (maybe just because of worn u-joints?). Same with low load cold driving shifts, but once warmed up its awesome. Looking into some electro-mechanical mod to allow it to be in 'pu$$y' mode under a certain temp, then pull the cable all the way out after X temp. Great for the new $4 Pi, but I can't finger out the mechanical aspect, maybe a clutch motor setup, motor and gear setup- I donno. I want it to have a latch nature so there isn't any motor power draw when at full slack or full pull.

Once warmed up, its totally normal going from Park to Drive, and the shifts are nice and fast, and a little bit more eagar to kick down. Overall great mod.

Maybe a different shape pulley on the Throttle body? Not round but oblong. So it ramps up pressure very quickly as Throttle pedal is depressed.
