Not bitter nor have any dislike for Subaru but after seeing all the bad transmissions that we move on a daily basis, I wouldn't buy one.
Did you see my post about Stainless Works?

The way I understand it is new firearms are subject to CMRs, which regulate many things sold new. For civilians, it’s law for all intents and purposes, we can’t purchase new fire arms that don’t comply with those regulations. LEOs can purchase them for service, I don’t know all the ins and outs as to how but, used service pistols that did not comply with the CMRs to be sold new, can be bought second hand. That’s why you see a lot of people buy a MA compliant pistol and immediately do a trigger job on it. The CMRs force the firearm to have a heavy trigger pull, along with other things, to be sold new in MA.

Amen, terrible idea for a vehicle unless it's smart car size.

Yes it's federal. A "Prohibited Person" can not possess as firearm or ammunition. Possess includes mere touching.
Once in a while a police department will issue a LTC or Firearms Identification Card by accident. That gets discovered the first time the newly licensed person goes to a gun shop to buy a firearm or long gun. The NICS check comes back as denied because the person is a PP.

I'll put in the usual IANAL disclaimer, so you should consult with a lawyer. You can also reach out to Commonwealth Second Amendment (commas.org). If nothing else they have a list of attorneys who have 2A work.

Much appreciated. So far as you know, do BB guns/air guns fall under licensing as well?

Air guns are not typically subject to licensing. You can order them on Amazon and other online sites. However, some states are very strict about how they are transported and used. If they are used in a crime they are often called facimille firearms and felony charges made.

Also, transporting a loaded air gun in a vehicle can result in charges of having a weapon in a motor vehicle.

    Much obliged, gentlemen.

I highly doubt it would see any time in my truck but if so I'll damn sure unload it etc.

Obviously nobody has a crystal ball, but the original cost for lawyer was about 3K back then..so I'd surmise there's a baseline for trying for another bite at the apple

You'll only know the cost if you ask. I'd guess the answer would depend on if you pled guilty, had a trail, or admitted to sufficient facts to support a conviction, or whatever. If your lawyer didn't explain that a plea would make you a PP, then that's an avenue.

You'll at least know what your options are.

How long before we see a part-out add?

Posting a day later but what a way start off the week. Pulled into school Monday morning and as I was parking I stepped on the brake and my foot went all the way to the floor and the truck didn’t stop. Got out of the truck and and noticed brake fluid sprayed all over the wheel well and realized I blew a brake line. Had the truck towed home and @dc welding and I replaced the blown line in no time. Really lucky that it didn’t happen on the road!

Very true..very true. Trial was my route. Figured I had a shot as no breathalyzer and I had a knee injury, plus a couple of minute things not followed..but sadly I put my fate to a jury.

Awesome, is that the Super Duty carrier bearing? I think the mod write up called it the Wookie Strength Carrier Bearing. I wanted to do that to my 2nd Gen but ended up trading it instead. I went through 3 Dorman bearings before buying a new Toyota carrier.
