Bed Mat Theft Prevention?

So I was walking through a parking lot, and there was this guy wiping his but with his bed mat, word travels fast....

 

Install D rings in the bed bolts, put them through the mat, lock it up.

Of course. I had the stainless steel hardware and it only required drilling one hole through the mat. Now if someone steals it I at least made them work for it.

 

It is good that other people are thinking some people would steal a mat if they could easily.

 

Actually, I wanted to lock my generator up through the d rings in the bed bolts so I put them through the bed mat. Win win win

 

I'm worried someone may steal my tires and wheels at night when I'm sleeping, so I'm considering pulling them off the truck and bringing them into the house every night, they are pretty expensive...

 

Installation instructions for bed mat.

1. Unpack bed mat
2. Lay bed mat in bed

I hope the installation was easy

Leave your mat in, you'll need it for when you do this.

 

It doesn't come with a bolt, so you need to get the hardware to do the mod. Get stainless steel so it won't rust.
