Seat Covers and just getting started!
Greetings fellow Tacoma owners! I'm totally new to owning a toyota of any kind so about two months ago I found myself buying a 2nd gen 2013 TRD Offroad with 4 doors and a short bed. I instantly began to like it! EXCEPT... the brake pedal is extremely touchy and will put you into the windshield if not wearing your seatbelt! I thought the brakes om my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee were touchy at first but they feel normal now compared to the Taco. This only seems that bad at first couple of uses or me getting used to it. I don't know if previous owner put new brake pads on it and the just need to be broke in or what. I'm trying to get adjusted to it first before I take it to a shop. I've been a jeeper since 1994 when I won a new Wrangler in a contest, kept it 4 yrs. then traded up to a 98 Wrangler with the coil spring suspension and kept that sucker for 18 yrs until somebody made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Then with the money from that sale I was able to buy 2 Grand Cherokees, one for me and one for her. I got mine first, an '04 and she liked it so she had to have one too. Hers was an '03. I lost her, my wife and soulmate when she passed into Heaven :( in November of 2019. I sold her jeep and still have mine and the new to me Tacoma. So here I am, looking and lurking to learn all I can about Tacomas. Sorry for the long composition, just scratched the surface though!
