What ship was Roci chasing and got fired upon (and shot the rail gun at)?
Naomi's ship does not blow up.

The ship that blew was the ship that was supposed to have the protomolecule. This was the ship the Roci was chasing.

The trap is the ship Naomi made it to. It was rigged by Marco to lure the Roci to the Roci’s death. During the episode, Phillip seemed to be weakening towards Naomi but then hardened again. This was the ship Phil owned (given to him by his mom) and wanted to Captain for Marco and the cause

Phil’s intentions are unclear at this time.

Yes agree. Kid is conflicted big time. He obviously knows his father is ruthless. Naomi will shut off rigged explosion IMHO

Started this Friday. The lady keeps falling asleep through it though.

 

She doesn't like sci-fi or plot too much?

 

Not a fan of sci-fi. She usually falls asleep when I watch anything sci-fi related. She tries though, so have to give her some credit.

 

My wife like Star Wars and stuff, but doesn't like really gritty anything so does not like The Expanse.

 

HAHA, I've tried Star Wars too and same thing. Thought maybe the Mandalorian would change her but no.

I think the only thing she kind of stuck with of all the things I've tried was Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit. She liked the Hobbit better.

she’s staying awake watching it. Almost done with season 1 of the Expanse and she’s commenting on it.

It seems she needs to have a small bowl of honey roasted peanuts to snack while she watches. I might to get more snacks

 

I know, I know. I thought the same thing. I will say after watching it again it is pretty good. She had never seen LOTR before, we did a whole weekend thing

 

Funny.

I just rewatched the Hobbit myself. Liked it better than when it first came out but LOTR’s still tops in my book.

The Hobbit’s a pretty ambitious mash of other Tolkien material with the Hobbit. An effective story but I always thought Jackson should bite off the origin story of all the rings of power. That would be an amazing project
