My current shocks are from a TRD [can’t remember the year] from a Craigslist ad. I’ve bought a set of 4 Bilstein 4600s for the front and rear. Missing the hardware for the front but I can get that from the dealer [after researching from other threads on here].

My question is, can I use the same springs from the current front shocks on the new ones or is there a difference from the TRD Bilstein. I don’t do off-roading, just “mall crawling”.

I have been doing a bunch of research on suspension lately and my guess is that you can but it depends on how many miles you have on the truck. I have stock suspension and am looking at doing a 6112 with 5160 rear shocks with a HS3 add a leaf. As I off road more often and am at 72,000 miles. I am starting to feel that its wearing out. Upgrading form stock will give you better on road handling even if you never off road. Iet me know if you have any other questions I have done a bunch of research on this. (all my research does retain to the base or 4x4 but most can be cared over.)
