measurements of the bed put a full size mattress as a fit with tail gate down. Looking for recommendations on a sturdy, comfortable air mattress that can be rolled and stored when not in use.

    RAMONA,CA.
ExPed Mega Mat is the only way to go, a bit pricey but well worth it. They are insulated so no cold butts.

After having an unfortunate accident with my last inflatable mattress getting punctured somehow through the night and waking up lying on deck of my truck bed I switched out for a memory foam mattress that rolls up. Now I sleep not only great but worry free!
Many available but this is the one I tried out.

I agree with the Exped Mega mat, I have one and it’s great. I also have a Thermarest Mondo king which is also good - bought it when I forgot to bring my Exped on a trip.

I will give you a third on the Exped mega mat duo 10 M. If you have a long bed, it fits like it was made for it with the tailgate closed. It also has a foam core so it's somewhat self inflating and even if it did deflate you wouldn't be laying on the plastic truck bed (although it shouldn't be a problem because it comes with it's own hand pump and repair kit).

I thought I was happy with my memory foam but after hearing these testimonies I'm suddenly displeased and find myself shopping! Hahah... :spending:

Make sure to check out their warranty too. Like WOODY2 said pricey but worth it.

4" memory foam. I'd go for 6" but it really cuts down the headroom.
