    Hi All,

Hope everyone is having a great Friday!

I cracked my left bumper cap so I ordered black bumper covers to hide the crack. In the process, I knocked in and damaged my rear parking sensor (not sure to what extent). I was trying to assess the damage of the sensor and was hoping I could pop it back into place so I tried to remove the left bumper cap and could not get it off. I was able to remove the 5 pins but I was getting stuck with the top center of the cap. I tried watching youtube videos but I was either missing something or a step wasn't included in the ones I could find.

So my first question is, does anyone have advice on how to remove my bumper cap?

My next issue is the parking assist sensor. I damaged some of the housing but I don't know if there is more damage than that. I've attached a picture of the sensor. Next to the 6 pins is a metal piece and I'm not sure if I snapped that off or if that's what it's suppose to look like?

    So my other questions are

    1. Is this worth repairing and try to find and buy new housing/bezel or is it not worth it? And did I damage it worst than just the housing?
    2. Are aftermarket sensors okay to install? Are they as effective? Will they work okay with the other OEM sensors?
    3. Does anyone have an oem sensor they are looking to sell? Or have the housing needed to repair mine (if i didn't snap whatever that piece of metal is)? Or have a suggestion on where I can find OEM ones (I could only find one used on ebay and in my opinion the guy was asking too much).

    Thank you!

    Josh
