Electric Mirror Install 1999 Tacoma SR5 Prerunner

I need to find electric truck mirrors to install in place of my manual mirrors. I have a 1999 Toyota Tacoma Pre-runner SR5 4 cyl. I have the place for the mirror control switch in the side panel above the window switches. Is there a year that will fit my truck? Or did this one come with them? I'm not sure so if someone can help I would appreciate it. Also where could I purchase a set of mirrors and control switch.

 

For the 1998 models, Power chrome mirrors were available as an option ('Power Package'). They were standard on the Limited 4x4 V6. You'll need to go to the dealer, or a wrecking yard for the parts. The mirrors themselves might be available in aftermarket, but likely very low quality. Not sure if you are 'pre-wired' for these.

 

So if I ordered OEM mirrors for a 1998 V6 tacoma they would fit?

 

Will a toyota tacoma 2000 power mirror fit a 1999 toyota tacoma?

 

good question as I am looking to upgrade to power mirrors myself.
