Optima is the gel celled (the one I was mentioning earlier).

Red is designed for deep cycle use and the yellow is designed for automotive use.

It goes back to what I was saying about your charging system being up for charging an AGM.

Edit: blue might be deep cycle and red the high amperage automotive

 

If you would of said optima, it would've rang a bell faster than all these gel celled terms lol

Go with the red top, if you back out it should offer a valid coupon last one I bout gave me 20% but only after I put it in the cart then bailed---that was 2 years ago though

 

Tow package means upgraded alternator (on 2nd Gen Tacomas), so you're at the bottom range of keeping an AGM battery charged (about 13.8-14.2 volts at idle), but good if you get the fuse upgrade from Australia ( @MattCowsmasher )

Otherwise, you need an alternator change/upgrade

You could use the Toyota app and search your vin options and see what alternator among other things your truck was/is equipped with

My RedTop lasted 6-7 years. Northstar lasted 9 months. I'm on 1.5 years with Interstate.

 

Oh I still have the original window sticker is why I asked. My vin# doesn't always do what others do cause Canadian...
