@Tonymontana & I explored some new trails today with the SxS. Can't wait to get @RobP62 on these new trails.

 

Decides to put up the 3.0s for sell. I don't want to wait for the fronts and ended up ordering the fox 2.5s with dual adjusters instead. So here it is....

Wts king 3.0 rears. Was going to keep them and get the fronts but changed my mind. Selling for what I got them for. Completely rebuilt with only a couple of hundred miles on them. $1,500 firm.

 

@68dave - That green 80 series would look soooo much better sitting in my driveway!

Do you keep a fire going overnight in your woodstove? I'm still trying to figure out how to keep mine around 300* surface temp and get it to burn for 6 hours while I pretend to sleep.

 

I drove a weird Toyota around all day.

 

Helped move my brother into his rental row house in Brewers hill Baltimore today. Hadn’t been up there in 2-3 years and that Camton Crossing development is really nice, walked to Mission BBQ to get lunch.

Used the truck to haul a dresser, nightstand, and bed frame from Beltsville and then a box spring from around the corner in Baltimore. Box spring wouldn’t fit up the stairs so up and over the back deck railing it went.

My woodstove has it 82* in here right now. Before I go to bed I'll load it and close the dampners a good bit so it slow burns all night. It will be mid 60's in here when I wake up in the morning. My cabin is a bit over 1300 square feet. I love this thing, nothing like free heat.

82 . Hope ya got some humidifiers going ,my nose would sound like a whistle . I have 3 humidifiers going all winter in my house . Wood stove keeps it anywhere from 72-75 * in my house . Just under 2000 square feet

 

Morning all

 

No humidifiers but I do have pots of water on top the stove. One is shaped like a steam locomotive and the steam comes out the smoke stack like a real train. Threw a couple pieces of wood in the stove about a hour ago and its already 77* in here. My cabin has a furnace & central air conditioning in the basement. Furnace is propane, and propane delivery is expensive because of my location so I fire the stove and keep it goin the whole time I'm here. The wood is free.

 

Could you post a pic of the steam locomotive kettle? That sounds cool!

I've been running my stove in the evenings after dinner, within a few hours the warm air being drawn into the HVAC ductwork gets the upstairs between 75-80*. I haven't had the heat pump kick on or needed to plug in the small oil filled electric radiator in my bedroom ( at night) since I got the wood stove running. I know that I'm not running it as efficiently as it could run, so I'm still making adjustments and taking notes. While I have to pay for the wood, it's still waaaay cheaper than paying BG&E for massive amounts of electricity while I was still shivering inside of the house.

I just got a black cast iron kettle from Tractor Supply yesterday, I'm hoping that helps a bit with the dryness.

 

I have a train theme in my cabin because you can sometimes hear a train horn off in the distance because of the rr tracks that run along the Potomac river. That's pretty much all you hear up there, well except for occasional gun shots.

 

Hung out with some P cars today. Did a few 150+ pulls in Mexico. Green 997 has a Ls1 in it.

 

You guys heading East on 70 2:30 today with a new yellow Lambo?

@Tonymontana came up the cabin to camp, shoot & ride atvs this weekend. We were discussing that a TW cabin meet is well overdue, this damn virus sucks. But hopefully we can all get together soon.

Np my friend. I can't wait to get a big group of us together, grab a chainsaw and clear those new logging trails. And of course explore the old logging trails again.
