I have my Bilstein 5100's for the front of my DCSB on order, but what would a decent
price be to have them installed on the oem springs ?

Also would an alignment be manditory ?

Hey thanks, So I understand from the details from the company I purchased the shocks
from that some (special tools ) Are required for installation. I know a spring compressor
must be used but is there some other weird tool that a shop would need to do the installation
correctly on the position of the lower spring perch ( notch )

Just make sure they don’t accidentally put the spring perch upside down.

Yes, hand the shop the install sheet.
Make sure you point out the orientation of the spring seat.

I did the job myself in my driveway. It's not very difficult.

Yes I understand, That it can be done without a compressor, but there was other work
to be performed at the same time and I just don't have the time to do it all.
I will make sure they have the install sheet and desired perch position. I want them
to check the front brakes anyway, Because I'm getting a fading pedal.
like air in the lines or a booster going bad. Could be just 8 year old fluid.
I have known the guy that runs this shop for a good many years and he's honest.

Install the clips for the position yourself, it takes a couple of minutes with a pair of pliers, that way you know it's on the right ride height. The shop can then install the stock springs and coilover with the other work.
