looks great and I thought the biggest 18 could go was 265/60/18 with stock suspension, hmmmm. You do not rub anywhere?

I am by no means a expert but from what i've read- the 265/70/17 is the largest wheel that will fit that will go though 90% of the suspension travel............however a 265/65/18 is approx the same height and width as the 265/70/17, the 285/60/18 is just a tad shorter(0.1"), but 20mm wider.

i'll take pictures in a few minutes showing that the wheels/tires clear the UCA better than stock. the problem i suspect i will have is turning at speed and hitting a bump. i figure it'll scrub a little.

Thanks for the info, I think I would rather have 285/60/18 anyways, excellent.

yeah i really like the width of the tire, not to mention that it's meatier and looks better than the rugged trails that were on there.

i can't promise all 285/60/18's will fit, but my wheels (18x8.5 +15mm offset) with these tires work out so far.

to show the distance between the UCA and tire.

So after having them on for awhile now. Do you exprience rubbing at bumps, and turning at high speed? I plan on getting the exact wheels and tires on my super white double cab and don't want to worrie about rubbing cause I do not plan on lifting the truck.

I love the wheel/tire combo (although may gas mileage has went down 2mpg). I haven't had any rubbing or other problems out of this setup. I can't vouch for the off-road capabilities of the tire as i've not had it in the snow or mud yet.
