That sounds way worse than a lot of the rock crawling I’ve done.

It was, one day after the rain was gone my hood and fenders were covered in scratches... to me 3 hours to clear them all up. Looked like a pissed off cat had his way with my hood.

Yikes! This is a mod that I have considered wanting to add to my truck, and that was not encouraging .
Is the switch to turn on the lights in the back of the truck too?
I have a 2016 and my model truck did not come with such a light, nor does it have the cutout/pop-off panel there to add it, so I would have to cut into the wall of my truck to add this.
Do you think it can be added to older models, or is it for late/newer models only?
I have the mattgecko led strips which @playdixie mentioned that I added 5yrs ago, and the plastic housing fade/yellow and over time they lose their brightness almost completely and isn't bright at all to see well.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Do you park inside or out? Reason I ask is if you can prop the hood open, rodents don't like open spaces. I had lots of trouble with my other truck almost every year and ever since I started leaving the hood open I've had no problems for 10yrs now.

I park outside, but where I live it constantly rains for almost the entire winter so leaving my hood open isnt the best option. Rodents are really only an issue during the super wet, cold months from December to about March.

Picture quality is low because its a screenshot from video. I spent 7 hours today to run all the electrical and air lines.

The plate was designed by me and cut on my brother's DIY CNC machine.

Viair Medium Duty OBA Kit, 2 gallon tank mounted front of spare tire, compressor mounted with viair bracket on the driver's side between the bed and rear quarter panel. I used a sheet metal backing plate to support the heavy compressor.

The compressor only runs when the truck is running. The idea is that the tank will always be full without worrying to kill my battery. Switch is only there to shut off the compressor for any reason.

On the leafs are firestone air bags with daystar cradles. Firestone pneumatic switch. Viair 1.5" pressure gauge. I tow a boat and use my truck as a truck. Airbags are always the 1st thing that I install, but this is the 1st time with a air compressor.

Seaflo 33-series washdown pump kit, mounted under bed on passenger's side. Still need to set up a water tank for this. I'm thinking to buy 2x scepter 5-gallon tanks in black and fabricate pick up tubes on the caps. I suppose that I can warm 1 in the sun for taking showers.

Power is supplied from a 'Blue seas systems' 4-fuse panel behind the switch panel. 8 gauge tinned wire from the battery with a 'Blue Seas Systems' 40a circuit breaker
