Got a shedding white doggo and it dawned on me that there might be an easier to clean vinyl floor carpet replacement. I could only find one for 2nd gen. Anyone?

That's one thing I miss was my previous trucks vinyl flooring. I'd love to take out the pain in the ass carpet.

I know RAM has vinyl floors in some of their trucks. It must suck when its raining because you'll be slipping with wet shoes

I really wish vinyl flooring was standard (or at least an option). Seems like something that should be a no brainer on an Off Road..

I'm surprised jeep still has carpet floor mats as a standard option. Basically the entire car is carpet which kinda defeats the purpose of driving under water or whatever those jeeps can do

I had vinyl flooring in my 2nd Gen. Wish I had it in my current Taco. The all weather floor mats help, but the carpet is still a pain to keep clean.

The stock vinyl mats seen to work for me...front and rear, ..but I expect the carpet to get dirty anyways..it’s a truck..for work and for off roading...

You can spray carpet protectors...I am not planning to eat off the floors either..

The 2019 TRD-off road ..the stock floors mats..fits very well..I am keeping them in the truck..

I live on a Coffee farm..dirts roads, muddy on rainy days, going to the beaches,,sand , and lava fields..
I think we need to live with thought..it is going to get dirty...reason I wash my clothes too..
    Aloha

carpets are a kind of a insulation and noise damper?

if you have an access cab there is a vinyl floor factory part. it's for the utility/commercial model access cabs with rear seat deleted and some other stuff.

Most Jeep Wranglers around here are driven by women holding a Starbucks. It's like the default vehicle if they couldn't afford a new Range Rover

My daughter (2019 TRD..) has dog mats for rear seats expend to cover the seats, floors and door panels keeping the dog hairs on these mats.. two Alaskan dogs...house kept dogs..when it snows...they refuse to come in the house...
Maybe this might work..for the back seat riders....don’t forget the water bowl..? Um..
    Aloha,

That’s 1 thing I miss about my old truck too. It’s a truck doing truck things and then there’s carpet makes no sense to me. Mats have nothing to do with it- I had mats with my vinyl floor. The fact is no matter your mats, the carpet will still get dirty and it’s so much easier to hose/clean vinyl flooring then carpet (not to mention stains).
