Texted wife about an hour ago she said that Doctors are going to do a CT Scan and currently don’t think Daughter has an infection. They think she may be dehydrated and I’m not up there so I guess that could be so.. Wife is supposed to keep me updated. Hopefully all will be well because wife needs to come home because of work. She has responsibilities to take care of at her job that won’t be done with her gone.
Just got an update and now they are saying it’s GERD an inflammation of stomach and gonna give her Nexium. Wife says she is pretty miserable. Praying she’ll get better soon or at least by tomorrow evening so wife won’t be torn about what to do. I believe you show trust in God by Praying and letting it go to some degree wife is a harder sell on just giving it to Him and letting go. I’ll be super glad when this is all over what an experience this has been. Parker’s doing good, Maverick hopefully will be better than he was,Daughter and Wife have probably aged 20 years because of this.

Completely understand. Gerd is manageable and often caused by stress. Standing with you and your family...and holding on to the hope that where two or more are gathered together, there He is in your midst. That if we agree as touching anything...he will do it. Stay strong brother.

My daughter just told me that baby formula contains LACTOSE; maybe Parker is lactose intolerable? My SIL had to use a SOY based
formula when he was a baby - today he is lactose intolerable.

Wow, somebody and hopefully ALL of us have GOD on speed dial! Got a message this Morning that Parker took “TWO FULL BOTTLES” last night! Thanks for your wonderful Prayers and I Pray that all of your families will be super blessed! However don’t stop now... she’s still almost 200 hundred miles away!

Was sitting at dining room table listening to BOTT radio and looked over in mail basket and seen this... and LOL it’s true!

My smaller but somewhat healthier Grandson Remington...Named after a shotgun and just as loud! Sounds like an emergency vehicle when he cries too. He’s got great lungs!

She is doing much better and practically overnight! Really hoping this continues so she doesn’t have to do another surgery and come home with a feeding tube. It’s much better to get your food the way God intended!
I will keep everyone updated soon as possible!

Today at 10:30 Maverick is having his Hernia surgery and head MRI to check for any unforeseen problems due to head size. Daughter is probably a basket case by now because of this and I hope she’ll be okay too. In the world we live in as parents we need to do what is right for our children’s health. She just needs to trust in God and have faith.

Parker has been given roughly one more week then it’s feeding tube time. She is doing good one day then the next she doesn’t take as much formula. In order to avoid getting the feeding tube she needs to consistently take in 75 milliliters. I also think they are about to bump up that expectation to around 90... which I think is preposterous. She was born five weeks early (Praise The Lord) for her head’s sake and would’ve just been born this week! Still Praying she will come home without tube but WE are all thankful for what she has been blessed to do so far. They are still testing her ability to swallow without aspirating and she is almost there.

That’s all we know as of now and WE APPRECIATE YOUR PRAYERS!

    Great News today!
Mavericks MRI was normal so what they had been afraid of since before he was born turned out to be nothing! He had two Hernias just like Grand Pa had fixed... I feel for him because they weren’t any fun. The other groin issue was taken care of too! He had a busy day and I am super glad he was young enough not to remember any of it. Thank you God above for watching over him and Prayers being answered. Thanks for your Prayers too. Parker still needs to consistently do better taking in “mass quantities” of formula so she can come home without a feeding tube. She has approximately a week to do better! Keep Praying we are wanting her to be done with Hospitals for quite awhile. Thanks and may God Bless You all!

I apologize for the levity in my text but when typing that I couldn’t go backwards to look up actual name of problem. So I tend to just write whatever to get something said and understood. I’m sure I come across wrong and sadly I think most Christians end up looking that way at times. I just hate to be in the middle of writing something and have to back out to get information... lazy I guess and have terrible memory too. Anyway I apologize if I come across in the wrong way.

 She’ll get there. One of my sons was a NICU baby, not premature, just had some oxygen level issues after birth. The NICU protocols are way more strict. Even the non-NICU weight and formula amounts seemed really strict to me. Docs are always hung up on birth weight and formula amounts. They were that way with all of five of my kids.
