Powdercoater called in a favor, wants me to make a bracket to mount this pressure washer to the wall. The motor is 7.5 HP.

7.5HP electric? Damn, I hope that's 3 phase or it's gonna be suckin' down some juice!

Hah, funny you mention this, kinda. I had just regular old Traveller Marine and Offroad grease in my gun that I used for my old Tacoma's u-joints, lawn mower, snow blower, etc. When I bought my new Tacoma I figure I'd treat myself to some nice new good grease as spec'd in the owners manual. Loaded it in my gun and purged the old grease outta the line. Crawled under the truck and there's no grease fittings on the joints, even though the manual specified a certain one. Bastards... Well looks like my lawn equipment and friends Terrimite backhoe are gonna get treated to some really good grease...

Ah night shift. I think it's going to be a easy shift, wait, take that back...don't want to jinx it. The garage queen Tacoma must have had a very low battery charge from sitting. My clock is way off. Tonight on the way in I thought about mentioning I believe every keystroke over internet is recorded somewhere. Made me think of this song..so I listened to it20210118_163909.jpg

And....one of the grease guns has a regular end, the other has a loc-n-lube.

PM me your address and I’ll send you a loc-n-lube ;)

I bought them last year and they are awesome. Get the accessories with them, you can get hard to reach zerk fittings in ujoints and such. It’s much nicer to not have to hold the hose onto the end of a grease fitting.

The new cardboard aided design reminds me of the cut out I have for the Corvette grille. Need to look for that this evening.
I guess day shift knocked one out of the park today, so all I should have to do is put alignment equipment on and verify their work. Were waiting on tags for the new motor to be bump checked for rotation.

Well then.... I’ll have to do some research.... I don’t use my one and only grease gun much.... 2 front driveshaft zerks, 2 on my push mower swivel caster wheels and 5 on the her jeep.... had Mobil1 grease which leaked all out last summer and had some cam2 grease laying around.... red ... I use this and then find something at TSC

I had to look up a grease needle because I’ve heard of them and never seen one used. Seems like it could be handy, I ordered one off Amazon last night because “I might need this someday” been intrigued by those lock and lubes, but for the cost I figure I could afford to just yank harder to get it off the zerk!

Speaking of the thread title change, I taped my Prinsu clone rack template together this weekend then traced it to a board to cut out. I identified a few tweaks and updated my files at work today.
Think I might make another template for this weekend and try it out again.
I also ordered all of the black stainless hardware and the 10 series extrusion ( enough to make a matching topper rack too!)
I’m thinking I might rip my OEM rack off soon to verify the mounting hole locations. There’s something I don’t like about going off of a downloaded file’s position.

A lab manager at work hooked me up with a solidworks license, so I’ve been trying to figure out how to use it via YouTube. Here’s what I got so far. The most random of designs. Maybe I should stick with cardboard. B64189BC-26BA-422D-BF7A-294AD09D47DB.jpg
