Here is the new bumper we installed this weekend. Husband did not cut the existing bumper exactly right and there is a gap on both sides. Would you try to fix it somehow or leave it? 8D904E30-7483-4351-9C29-C4BDA26ED387.jpg

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Yes. I wanted a M/T, so it was this or a black ACLB OR. It was an easy choice. And a note on the tires. You don't have to go big when you lift. I went up about 3" and only went up one size on the tires. And that was before the lift. When I'm due, I'm going to go to 33's, and thats it. I don't want to get into cutting and trimming or tubbing out the fenders. And bigger tires, if you stick with the kevlar, means more wieght. Just my opinion, and it's your truck. Either way, it's good.

Personal preference. From the photos, the cuts look fairly similar. Have you made sure the bumper itself is on straight?

It would bother me. I'd be looking for those parts. Just me. I do all my own body work, so I'd only be out the cost of those parts and paint.

There was a strengthening bracket for one side that got bent and we asked for a new one. I am not sure of the different it might make but I will ask my husband to make sure that its as high and straight as possible when we install the replacement bracket.

I'm not super enthused about the park in Holly, lol... but I'd be in for a trip somewhere sometime in the near future.

I'm sure its not as fun as out west or down south but its something new to me. We are headed to South Carolina in April for a wedding but want to off road somewhere while we are down there. Could be the makings of a trip.

Oh yeah, for sure, and I'd probably still be down to join, lol. They have some challenging stuff built out now so the fun is there; just that I prefer wooded trails and/or just going to get lost. The big open gravel pit parks don't do much for me. But of course it's close, convenient, and better than nothing!

Finished the upgrades on my taco and I am ready to sell some parts. 5 tires - 4 with 3000 miles and a full size spare Goodyear Wrangler w/kevlar 265/70/r16's. I want to get 33's now that I have the lift. I would like to sell all 5 but will discuss selling the 4. Asking $150 a tire. $600 for 4 or $750 for 5. Also selling the stock suspension - front rear shocks, rear leaf springs, and upper control arms. Also selling the oem fog lights, gas tank skid plate and front skid plate. Also selling brand new Rough Country roof rack for 2021 Jeep Rubicon. Will discuss pricing. Let me know if you have any questions.

    Hi Beth,
Did you guys have any issues installing your rock sliders? We're trying to get our Victory 4x4 strike sliders on a '20 Tacoma and it's not lining up at all. Not even close. We were wondering if there were frame changes on the newer Tacoma. Do you have any insight for us??
    Thanks,
    Rachel

I can't really answer the specific question at hand... but I know that often times it will seem like sliders aren't lining up at all; but then as you start to get a couple bolts in, it all starts coming into place. Not sure if that might be case or not. I haven't heard anything about '20 frames being any different, but no first hand knowledge/experience with them.
