There is no rule that says you have to make your trade on Tuesday. You can hold cash until whenever you want to invest. Somebody might baghold the entire time and win with $600 they forgot to invest.

If we all get wiped out in the first week, I will laugh like I've never laughed before. Part of the challenge.

BTW, China just released it's GDP for the year. 2.3%. I'm I the only one who thinks those numbers might be just a little tiny bit fudged? lol

OK, transfer initiated, scheduled for 1/19, funds available for trading 1/22. I might have waited for any potential market turmoil anyway but what do I know...

 

I might wait to see what occurs Wednesday. It's still good to have cash in the account to make moves based on current market reactions. Reacting a week later after funds are deposited/cleared doesn't quite have the same effect. As long as you call the market move correctly. lol

 

I think I’m going to bet on name brand has beens. Rather than penny stock or options which I’m simply not qualified to touch.

I’m hoping for nothing too much worse than a 20% loss

I tried to buy a penny stock, and couldn’t without a limit order. I don’t want to get screwed on the spread trying to sell it when this is over.
