So I have a 2017 Gen 3 Tacoma Pro with fox suspension.
I want help getting suggestions on what shocks or kit to replace them with.

    1. I am interested in going a little higher. Enough to comfortably fit 285/75/16 tires hopefully
    2. If possible (I'm clueless here) i want to do it by just replacement of shocks
    3. If #2 is not possible, what kit is recommended that won't break the bank, yet give me a good smooth ride and allow me to fit 285s?

    Thanks in advance!

Maybe but i doubt they have much clearance to go much else besides mall crawl with 285/75/16s on stock Pro.
I currently have 265/75/16s and rub currently when compressing down in the front.
    Just looking for alternative options.
Will likely sell my Pro Shocks after changing to recover costs

Do you 'need' 285s for how you use the truck, or is this just a looker?

Are you trying to fill the wheel wells from a side view with 33" of tire? You can do that with 255 85 16 on OE wheels. No lift/rub/cut.

If you want to change stuff out, go King. High dollar pro needs high dollar bits.

I would like to clear more obstacles without issue but will admit i currently only offroad couple times a month at most.

Taller tires are the only thing that creates additional axle line clearance.

The 255 option is a full 33, just like the 285 option. Just w/o the side effects.

I'll definitely take a look at these. Kind of like the wider tires but will check out some pics.
Besides the tire, i will need to either service the Fox shocks or replace them so figured i would get suggestions on what to replace them with if i can sell them
