Back in November I was given the opportunity to pick this truck up 20201121_150701.jpg

As you can see, it had to be towed to me, towed because of this:

Apparently the truck was struck by a smaller car which warped the spindle, bent the upper control arm bolt and bent the alignment tabs towards the rear of the truck.

I found some gusseted spindles nearby and put them together with the old hubs, threw everything on with the Kings from my old truck and whalaa!

    -insert picture here-

I don't have pictures of the front suspension as it stands but boy was it work. The upper control arm bolt was so bent I had to cut it into 3 little pieces, push the front of the fender panel out and force the new one in.

I couldn't have her be up in the front and low in the back so I ordered the rear suspension kit from Trail Gear:20201220_162934.jpg

Took about a solid week of work but she looks good now

We took her on a trip from Cali to Texas about a day after I finished and she ran like a Japanese truck, perfectly.

The alignment was on spec too! I put some SPC arms on there and she aligned to spec with about 2.5 degrees of caster. I'm sure I can get more if I mess with the control arms a bit, but it runs fine and tracks well (well enough).

I currently have a few issues
    1. She creaks on the front right side, she creaks bad. Could it be just dirt? I didn't replace the sway bar and think it might be bent. But don't want to remove the whole sway bar unless i have absolute reason to do so.

    2. I have no bump stops in the back. The kit came with no bumpstops and the teeny OEM ones didn't work with the u-bolt flip kit.

Does anyone have a relatively affordable (sub 200) recommendation for some bumpstops?

Also, old blue is up for sale.
