My 2006 Tacoma v6 is making this super loud screeching, whining noise on cold start. I need help figuring out what it is. The link is above to the video I recorded of the sound. Any suggestions or ideas would be great thanks. It is also an automatic transmission.

Cant access the video right now, but I'd bet 20 to one on the serpentine belt.

That was my first guess but its not, sounds like it’s coming from the back of the engine it’s way too loud to be the belt. It almost sounds like flywheel or something in the transmission.

That's your power steering pump. Sounds just like mine lol. I have a video of mine making the same noise, I'll try to find it

I second the power steering pump

Check to see if its low on fluid.

Does it wine more when turning the wheel? like in a parking suitation?

No, it only whines on cold start. No noise when driving around. After the car warms up it goes away.
