    I joined the Houston Area Off Road Recovery group on facebook some months back, and I've had a blast. I used it once to get rescued after framing out in a mud hole (dude was on his way home from work, had me out 30 min after my post), but moreso have had such a good time going out and helping other stuck people.

    The group is really enthusiastic about helping out both each other and strangers (and of course is a great excuse to go drive in some dirt). I know there is a whole network of off road recovery groups in South Texas, check out your local area for one to join!

    Being light weight, I've found my taco to be an extremely capable recovery truck... I can get back places (even on my stock tires) that the bigger trucks can't access.

    Acting as an anchor for the big jeep, using his winch to get out a very stuck ford:
