Don’t cut corners! But do cut the cab mounts.

Beautiful! I looked back a few pages to see what your setup was like but wanted to confirm. Stock Baja suspension up front with no additional lift and no skid plates? All pro leafs. 285-75-16. Any rubbing? I have those same wheels, just picked up used 2nd gen Pro suspension and am wanting to go with larger tires.

Currently I have 3rd gen TRD OR suspension + 3/4" additional lift from a spacer in the front and 1" block in the rear. 265-75-16. I added skid plates and sliders and now it's looking low again in the front. Looking forward to installing the Pro suspension but not sure how much lift I'm actually going to get with the added weight.

The stance looks good! I've had 33's for a little over 2 years now, and I'm ready for 35's. I might make the jump by the summer if my wheels ever show up lol.

    Yes sir.

    Stock bilstein suspension.
Expedition all pro leaf pack in rear.
1” bora wheel spacers on all four wheels
    JBA UCA’s
    Cab mount chop

Yes i am rubbing on the front fender liner. Im going to trim this weekend but other than that im good. Also I will eventually install the toytec 1” baja spacer in front.

Currently running nitto ridge grapplers 285/75/16. Down the road I may just buy 305’s and call it good from there. All I’d really do is trim my fenders for that and maybe re gear if I feel really sluggish. Some people run 305’s and don’t have any issues.

Thanks for the response! For some reason yours looks higher than just the stock Bilstein suspension but ride height is often just deceiving. I too am thinking about adding the Toytec spacer. Is there any benefit to that setup vs a 1/2" top hat spacer (which would yeild a 1" lift)?

The Toytec spring seat spacer is equivalent to adding “pre-load” on an adjustable coilover. It’s a better approach of a spacer since it’s utilizing the strut itself, whereas a top hat spacer spaces the entire assembly down. Personally 1/2” is about as large as I would go for the top hat route, and it also depends how much you offroad

I 100% agree. The 1/4” top hat gives you 1/2” the 1/2” top hat doubles as well.

Picking this up tomorrow in San Antonio. 2013 with 64k miles. Dealer replacing tailgate latch, front shocks, brakes/rotors and all new fluids. As long as it rides as it should and third party pre buy inspection comes out ok she's mine.
