The most "useful" mod will for sure be a shock upgrade. At all times you will notice and appreciate the improvement. You would think that the fancy 2.5" shocks (with adjusters) are for "lift" and off road performance only. They improve that for sure, but if you get the correct setup your street ride will be way safer, smoother and make driving the truck long distances less fatiguing. Your body roll will be greatly reduced, break dive will decrease, hauling more weight/towing will be much more controlled and most pot holes and speed bumps are not going to jar the chassis. Also no bouncing all uncontrolled over bumps and rollers on the highway like your grandpas Cadillac. Cheaper alternatives like the 2.0" Bilstein shocks or so can get you some of this, but might as well do this right the first time. I mean how cool is it to hit turns like a sports car in your 4250lb truck. With the right coil spring choice and shock settings...it's more possible than you think.

Be warned that the $1000 bucks will only cover like 20% of the cost lol...and you have to do a bit of research before buying the Amazon fox 2.5" coil overs and rear shocks ;) But for how useful they are on the dirt and MORE so on the street....can't go wrong.

I always thought LCA skids were just certain fabricators and youtubers trying to push unnecessary bolt on accessories to broverlanders

arent LCA’s beefy and simple enough to take a hit? Not like an LCA skid would stop your IFS from being knocked out of alignment from a hit anyway. Ive got full skids and sliders but never considered LCA skids as worth it :notsure:
