    Hi folks,

I am trying to identify what leaf springs I have on our truck.

I have a 2006 TRD sport access cab that I purchased with a rough country leveling lift on it (3" spacers in front, 2" blocks in rear). The lot I purchased it from has a tendency to try to add bling at low cost (hence the Rough Country lift). The RC lift was new when I bought the truck and while I cannot recall if the spings looked new or not, we have only driven the truck about 6k miles and they don't look 14 years old to me (see attached picture).

The truck (measured at the fender wells through the centerline of the wheels) is still about 1.25" higher in the rear with this kit on it. I have measured the blocks to ensure it is the 3" leveling lift (front spacer actual size is about 1.5", rear blocks are 2").

I notice the leaf springs have print on them "RX-253-6 CD". I, or google, cannot find any reference to the this part number. I am wondering if this is maybe an aftermarket spring with some lift combined with the 2" block causing the rear to still be more than an inch higher than the front.

The spring has 4 leaves, including the lower "helper". The truck also squats pretty deep when we load it up.

I have attached a picture of this leaf spring.

While we are discussing my suspension here, we pull a 20' Forest River Geo pro with it. I use load leveling bars and some air bags. It tows fairly well although through rough sections of highway it can knock our teeth out; I have to lean forward and brace myself the vibration can be so harsh. For now I am assuming the rough country shocks, and maybe the lift could be the main contributors. I just ordered some bilstein 5100 for starters.

Ultimately, I would like to lower the truck to a modest lift, maybe 1-1.5" and have it close to level or maybe .5" higher in the rear. Before I try to achieve any specific heights, I thought it would be good to know what I am working with regarding these springs.

Does anyone recognize this leaf spring part number? Or have suggestions on how to determine what the spring spec's are?
