    I have flashed over a dozen trucks now and just charge a flat fee...they get the tune that is closest matched to their truck. If you are paying someone to flash your truck with OV, they should be updating your ECU to the most current version, which is what I do as well.

    I've been telling people I will reflash for free if they change their setup (tires or gears) and if I don't have to go out of my way to do it, or (heaven help us) if OV released an better/updated tune (probably won't ever happen).

    I won't flash any custom tunes or make modifications to the files unless I know the person, not some rando off the internet. Too much liability to flash anything else and mess up their truck...also why I'm forming an LLC and will be making people sign a release of liability before flashing, you just never know...not trying to get sued and have my personal assets tied up in litigation.

    Originally flashed Ovtune 2.0 on my truck and it was nice. Definitely noticeable but my mileage dropped about 2mpg (hard to tell as I only had it on a few hundred miles).

    Over the weekend flashed a map provided by @PapaRee and Wow, it’s a night and day difference. Feels faster, tranny tune is even better than 2.0 (I’m auto).

    I had the bed loaded with a few hundred lbs of wood and normally merging on the highway this truck would shift all stupid and be all over the place, but @PapaRee tune it felt just like it should.

    Another perk, mileage is back to BETTER than it was stock. This is after a hundred mile highway road trip.

    Is it his 3.0 cruiser? I just had my first drive today with it and I got better milage than I usually ever get. Seems like a solid ass tune so far. Thanks @PapaRee
