    They're great wheels; crazy light and the finish holds up well to off road use. I'm gonna hate giving them up when I go to 315s since they don't come in 16x9.

    why would you swap wheels? 315’s are perfectly fine mounted on a 8” wide wheel. You are actually less prone to popping a bead with wide tires on narrow wheels.

    True, it's not necessary, but IMO 8" wheels start to look a little too sunken-in with a 315 tire. Just personal preference.

    Don't get me wrong, it looks good, but I prefer just a little less sidewall tuck.

    Here are my 315/75/16 on a 8” wide wheel. They aren’t nearly as ballooned as the above pic.

    yeah it probably is.

    also, I don’t really know of any 16x9” wheel options that don’t cost a fortune. you might have to step up to a 17” to get a 9” wide wheel.
