Curious, where did you take your measurements for those numbers off of the kit? Impressive for a bolt in 4WD kit.

Hubs. Only took a couple of pictures, but here’s my first set before I adjusted my bumpstops. It’s because this kit has vertical uniballs top and bottom. Most of the other off the shelf long travel kits Have a horizontal upper uniball that is the limiting factor for their kits. I also have axles that allow quite a bit more angle before the outer cv binds.2F5FEA73-1BD7-4669-ADC2-3148ED76AE3B.jpg

Nice! Yeah the vertical uniballs upper and lower definitely are the right move. Solid travel #’s for a bolt in kit with 4WD.

@DocME did you have any issues with your front axles when you first got it running? I'm having a weird bind from like 5-10 mph that only happens in 2wd. gonna work it more tomorrow to verify the source of the issue and figure out if its a specific axle doing it and then tear into it to figure it out. It doesn't make the noise or have any bind when spun by hand and spins smoothly so not sure whats going on.

Ha, well it’s been a crazy year and I still haven’t made enough time to put it on the ground yet. I just got the glass mounted, and I added spherical rod ends to the upper arms for some addition camber adjustment. I *should* have it down on the ground in the next two weeks or so. What axles did you go with?
When you say binding, do you mean it’s popping and grinding? Does it happen when you’re turning and/or when you’re going straight?

I’ve gotta email Steve back but it’s got a pop from like 5-10 mph and it only does it under acceleration in 2wd. But yeah I’ve been thinking about adding Heinz to the uppers as well to correct my camber now that I locked out the lca’s with the poly performance plate kit. And they are the shafts from total chaos.

unless the axles are rubbing on the spindles, I think you have an issue with the axles or the axle install. I don’t see how the kit could cause that type of issue unless there wasn’t enough clearance to the axles, which I kind doubt would happen.

turns out it had nothing to do with the front..... it had to do with issues with how long my driveline was made when i did my engine swap beginning of last year and not putting the carrier bearing back in the same orientation that had allowed everything to work smoothly before.

Would there be any interest in making a spindle for a 6 inch lifted truck?
