My steering wheel seems to keep going off center. If I turn the front wheels all the way and give it that little extra push, it'll throw the steering wheel off. Seems to happen to easily. I can fix it by turning the other way to its fullest and giving an extra tug. I just had the alignment done and then went back again to have it fixed. The alignment is fine and it drives straight. The problem is just the steering wheel. What can I tighten so that it won't keep moving? I took it to the dealership but they insisted on not helping because of the lift. Hoping this is something I can do myself. Any info or pics would be apreciated. Thanks.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Say the steering wheel is straight, when I make a right turn the steering wheel will be slightly off center to the right a couple degree off center. I keep driving and make a left turn, the steering wheel will be center after the turn. I keep driving and make another left turn, the steering wheel will be off center to the left. It is like whatever direction I turn the steering wheel, it will be off center in that direction after the turn. The steering is tight and responds like it should just the steering wheel keeps going off center as I'm driving. I just got an alignment today and the steering wheel is still going off center while driving. I have a spindle lift with kings coilovers for about 6 years now and never had this issue. I have a lifetime alignment from firestone and they have done the alignment perfectly for the past 6 years so its not the alignment shop. I'm thinkin its the rack and pinion or lower control arm. If any member has experienced this issue please respond and let me know how you fixed this issue. any help will be appreciated.
