Nothing unique, just the 2020 Tacoma PRO wheels with stock Off Road/Pro Goodyear tires (265/70-16). Purchased at my local parts dept. I took the safe upgrade route but I am happy with the setup. Also was able to sell my stock sr5 tires & wheels for a good price which helped mitigate the cost of the new gear. Thanks.

Trying to find a 2012-15 AC Blk,Gray or Wht. with TRD pkg because I want the RR diff. lock option. Not many in my area CT or NE for that matter. Plenty of AC's.

    2020 Tacoma SR5 Access Cab
I'm not sure this question needs a new thread, so I'll try here. I have a 2020 SR5 access cab. The access cab door on the driver's side seems too difficult to open. When I reach around to open the access cab door using the recessed handle on the interior, it seems to stretch and then finally releases to open. It kind of pops loudly and feels like it may not release at times or like it'll break at some point. My description may not be the best, but it feels like there is too much tension on the latch mechanism. I have read that the new trucks have new door rubber that will settle or flatten over time, so that may be a cause. Is it just me or do your access cab rear doors do the same thing? Or do they seem to close like you'd normally expect. Thanks

Look at the door jamb label. In which plant was your truck built? Wonder if it might be a "learning curve" thing with the access cab production being shifted from Texas to Guanajuato in late 2019. There were similar latch fitment issues in 2011, when access cab production moved from California to Texas.

My Mexican ‘21 does not have the issue that you describe. Doors all open and close without issue.
Unless yours is out of warranty or something, go get it looked at.

There are two Mexican plants building Tacomas. The Tijuana plant has been building them for over 20 years. The Guanajuato plant just started in late 2019.

    Yup.

If you wanna get specific, mine’s from Guanajuato. Built the week of Dec 20th 2020. It’s an AC MT OR. Cement. All Doors, Main + Access open without any sort of issues or problems or resistance.
Go get yours checked out my dude.
