Washing in winter

UPDATE: The Garry Dean Method worked GREAT ! My truck looked better than the day I bought it(and my traditional home washings with the old hose and sponge). It took me about an hour as I took my time, but the finish is so SMOOTH. I was able to do everything in my garage since it was barely 40 degrees and I bought a couple gallons of distilled water just to make sure there would be no water spots(not to mention our tap water is hard).

I would take a picture, but we just got some snow ⛄️. Oh well, it looked good for a couple days anyways. Thanks again!

 

Catch a 52 degree day (1/21/21) like I did here in southeastern Illinois and take he to the car wash self service bays. Even scrubbed and gelled my tires. Days like this in the 3rd week of January don't happen here in Illinois. But here it is.

 

Looking good! It got up to the mid-forties here, but I had to work all day. Buddy wanted to go disc golfing so if I did cut out early it would have been to throw some discs! I like those wheels! I’ve still got the plain gray steelies on my SR.
