    You are correct that FAR to ATL is right about 5 hours.

    Collectively, these are the things I'm wrestling with to make the decision:

    • I get 24 hours of funeral leave and have 240 hours of vacation time. I'm not worried about being gone.
    • Kids are old enough that my wife really doesn't need to "look after them" so being gone for a week shouldn't be an issue there either.
    • The virus is still front and center so doing what I can to avoid it obviously seems like a good idea.
    • I've had a massive itch to go on a road trip for a while. Granted, it was intended to be with the family but I don't want the kids out of school now that they've just started back up full time this week.
    • Since timelines are still up in the air, driving means I can alter my schedule without having to deal with changing flights and the rental car.
    There are probably some other things that I'm not remembering yet.

    Years ago I purchased Starrett 12" dials then sent them back & exchanged for Brown&Sharpe for the covered rack. Something I try to tell new guys...keep the rack closed and away from machine chips.

    Here's some Peleton Racks I recently made. Have two more in progress and a few more potential orders. Used a 50/50 paint/water mixture as a white wash. Easy to wipe on and limitless possibilities with color choices. Making grey ones now.
