Pulling the leafs or the controls could cause a issue, but it would show right away when they put it on the alignment rack.

But, when they pulled the leafs out did they remove the whole rear axle? if they did then they could of very well damaged the center support bearing by letting the driveshaft hang. alternately, if they pulled the rear axle out and pulled half the driveshaft out (its a 2 piece shaft) then when they put it back together they may not of marked its alignment. The driveshaft is balanced as a single unit, so if you take it apart and dont put it back exactly how it came apart then it wont be balanced anymore (this will also shred the center support bearing)

So this is really looking to be on the body shop right now, correct? Drive shaft is sounding quite possible with your explanation. Thanks a lot for your help!

Maybe I missed it, what did it go into the shop for originally? Possibly loose steering components, front sway bar possibly?

Maybe from an accident . Only reason why someone goes to a body shop,

I have seen inner CV joints fail and bind to cause a hell of a car shake. You have something driveline related causing that.

Yep! And depending on how it was lifted and how high,,,, some lifts are known to change CV angle enough to bind or dramatically increase wear- shiny boots.

Suspension was done about 6 months ago and I had zero issues. Hit the trails a little too hard and bent my control arm and knuckle. Caster was still off so I took it to body shop to have them straighten it out. After it left the body shop, horrible shaking. Thought it was alignment needing to be adjusted after pull but it’s not.

Take it back and have them fix it right,,, or better yet, take it to a different shop. It's usually best to replace bent suspension components, not just bend em back. We probably can't help you over the net, you have to get the front end in working order.

Thanks for all your help everybody! Ended up being the stupidest thing. Body shop left washers on one of my hubs! Coulda caused some serious damage but looks like we got away lucky this time. Thank god it wasn’t a drive line or suspension issue! Again thanks for all the feedback

    That'll do it!!
I can't figure why on earth they had two thick washers on wheel studs. I've seen the thin assembly washer, but not shit like that,,,, almost looks like a wheel spacer hackjob.

    all tore up already
I'm guessing sticking brake caliper. You mentioned they were replaced, likely with a reman set. These fail fairly often. Do brake rotors and calipers look the same? When one is sticking they get real hot(orange rust edge and or blueing of the rotor face, excessive brake dust on one wheel)

A sensor issue will likely give you a warning light and or a code. Abs is crazy loud in these trucks

Not going to lie, who ever did the alignment didnt do an alignment... Those washers would of thrown the alignment so far out of spec that they would would of assumed the frame was smashed in really far.

Yikes!! I would go back to Les and ask them why the hell they didn't find that the first or 5th time. That should have been obvious. I hope you didn't pay them anything. That should have been caught when they balanced as well as the alignment.

Agreed. The only reason to use a washer would be to run the rotors on with the lug nuts, but on these trucks they slide right on even with a bit of corrosion and that on doesn't have much.

did you look at the truck with someone else driving it? I would think you would be able to see that. Glad you go to the root of that problem.

Something stinks,,,,, I'd call or better yet, stop by and talk to whomever is in charge. After 5 attempts to realign and balance,,,, either someone is incompetent beyond belief (I mean who's going to put those two thick ass washers back??) Or they're full of shit and weren't looking at anything.

I agree with others here. Something's not quite right.
There are a lot of incompetent folks in your area. While I'm happy your vibration problem is resolved that doesn't excuse the low-quality vendors around you. In the future you know now where NOT to go....
